ASU Online students pursuing the Pre-Dietetics Focus Area should note that CHM 235 lab requires hands-on experiments, which are conducted at the ASU Tempe campus during a one-week summer session. Lab reports will be completed in the weeks following the in-person session.

All baccalaureate degree students must fulfill university graduation requirements, including a minimum of 120 credit hours, with at least 45 credit hours in upper-division courses.

Mathematics Placement Assessment score determines placement in first mathematics course.

Students should work with their academic advisor, and consider course prerequisites, in order to complete all degree requirements in four years.

Students following the Pre-Dietetics Focus Area will be eligible to apply to a graduate program in Dietetics which integrates the required coursework and experiential learning to prepare students for the Registered Dietitian (RD) exam. Upon passing the RD Exam, graduates can work as Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN). The Pre-Dietetics Focus Area requires both BIO 202 and MIC 205/206. BIO 202 should be completed before MIC 205/206.
